Seas rough on all the West Coast and in off-shore waters south of East Cape; moderate north of East Cape. Strong west to south-west winds and rough seas in the Eastern Tasman Sea; moderating gradually. Weather changeable, squally, and unsettled; some rain in most districts, temperatures becoming cooler.
