THE FAIRY
Early one morning, 'twas just at dawn, I spied a little fairy dancing on the lawn; She had lovely golden ringlets all tied with ribbon bows, And a lovely dress that sparkled as she danced upon her toes. Then as I gently called her by her charming fairy name. She .turned and disappeared and was never seen again. —By Irene Thompson, Masterton.
