A NEEDLECASE
This little trifle is within the scope of the small schoolgirl, who will probably be delighted to make it as a New Year present. The pieces of flannel are l|in. or 2in. wide, and flin. or 71n; long, the edges being cut in small vandykes to prevent fraying. An "overdress” of satin ribbon cun be chosen of a favourite colour. A small doll’s head can be readily bought and fastened at the top. A scrap of marabout trims the bonnet, while the sewing reel “muff” can be of a colour which harmonises with the satin ribbon. * ■ - —
