DESIRES TO RESIGN FROM

Berlin, December 26.
M. Georges Tchitcherin will return to Moscow early in January to urge the acceptance of his resignation as Soviet Foreign Commissar. M. Tchitcherin, who has been under treatment for diabetes at Wiesbaden for over a year, has been unable to taken an actue part in foreign affairs, and asked to be relieved some time ago. It is believed here that the Soviet will accept the resignation as the result of the forthcoming journey, which has been permitted by physicians only after a thorough examination of their patient.
