BODY FOUND IN RIVER
MISSING RABBITER. By Telegraph.—Press Dunedin, December 27. The body of Adolphus Brophy, a rabbiter on Puketoi station, was found in the Taieri River near Patearoa yesterday. Deceased had been missing since Tuesday night and it is supposed that he was drowned while attempting to cross the river on his horse early in the week. The river was slightly swollen. Deceased was 50 years of age.
