MISSING SOLICITOR
ARRESTED AGAIN
Brisbane, December 26.
Robert McGowan, the missing solicitor, has been re-arrested. The Magistrate yesterday issued a warrant foi his arrest, and the police found him on Stradbroke Island, in Morctou Bay, living with some fishermen. When arrested he had a gash in his throat *nd a lacerated wrist. He was in an exhausted condition. [McGowan is charged with embezzlement of a considerable sum, and was remanded last week on bail, but failed to appear when the case was called on Tuesday.)
