SHORTAGE .OF LABOUR
BUSY TIME AT GISBORNE,

Gisborne, December 19.
Although 200 men were engaged, there was a shortage of labour, on the waterfront at Gisborne to-day, with five coastal vessels mid a Home liner loading and dis-clim-ging. The members of the crews of some of the vessels and a number of schoolboys were. ■ employed to supplement the ordinary labour.
