WAIRARAPA SECONDARY SCHOOLS
BOYS’ HIGH SCHOOL HOSTEL. .Masterton, December 19. Tenders for additions to the Wairarapa High School boys’ hostel are to close on January 30, according to a decision of the Wairarapa Secondary Education Board to-night. There was some discussion as to the advisability or otherwise of postponing the calling of tenders, but it was generally thought that the matter should go forward with all expedition. The board decided to engage a teacher of eurhythmies to take classes at both the Wairarapa High School and the Technical School next year. The chairman (Mr. T. Jordan) intimated that the Department had agreed to the proposal. It was suggested that the amount now being. expended on singing lessons could be Utilised for eurhythmies instead, and it 1 was decided to dispense with. the services inf the present teacher of singing.
