CHILDREN BURNED TO DEATH
TRAPPED IN LOCKED ROOM
Albury, December 17.
Trapped in a locked room of their home at Coppabella Station, four children, the eldest aged four years aml the youngest live months, were burned to death. The whole countryside is horrified at the appalling tragedy. The parents are Mr. and Mrs. Graham. The father works half a mile away, and the mother had occasion to visit him, so she locked the children in a rooin for safety. , A drover, passing the bouse some time later, saw it burning fiercely. He made frenzied efforts to break info the hut, but The terrific heat made it impossible. Charred almost beyond recognil A the bodies of the three older chiidix were found huddled in one corner. The body of the baby has not been recovered. No explanation of the fire can be given.
