AUSTRALIANS AT NAPIER. By Telegraph —Press Association. Napier, December 17. Griffiths and Ryan, the _ Australian swimmers, appeared in Napier to-night at a carnival. Ryan participated in a 200 yards handicap, finishing in second nlnce to the limit man in the time of 2min. 32sec. Griffiths won a 100 yards handicap by a touch, after a thrilling finish. The time wns 56 4-ssec.
