SURPRISE FOR “FRIENDS OF SOVIET” SEIZURES BY POLICE (Rec. November 29, 7 p.m.) London, November 28. A surprise awaited thirty-eight members of the British "Factory delegation friends of Soviet” on arrival at Harwich from Holland, after a month’s tour of Moscow. Scotland Yard police seized a large quantity of Communist literature. Several also were subjected to a strict customs search, the leader of the delegation alleging he was partially stripped. The police also seized a number of Russian Trades Union badges.
