AVIATION IN HAWKE’S BAY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dannevirke, November 29. The first privately-owned aeroplane in Hawke’s Bay. a Gipsy Moth, purchased by Mr. Hamish Armstrong, of Akitio, while he was in England recently, was flown to Dannevirke from Wellington yesterday by the owner, accompanied by Mr. Horace Riddell. They stopped at Martinborough. The machine behaved splendidly. They left Dannevirke this morning for the owner’s home on the coast.
