SECONDARY INDUSTRIES
INQUIRY NEXT YEAR It is unlikely that the Select Committee set up by the House of Representatives to inquire into the secondary industries of the Dominion will start its work before February or March of next year. The above statement was made by the Minister of Industries and Commerce (Hon. J. G. Cobbe) yesterday in reply to an inquiry. The committee is to inquire into the secondary industries with a view to ascertaining how their welfare can be promoted.
