TOWN v. COUNTRY MATCH TO-DAY Though the wicket may be on the slow side, some bright cricket should be witnessed at the Basin Reserve to-day, when elevens representing the Town and Country players in the Wellington district will engage in their annual trial of strength. Play will commence at 11 o’clock to-day, and the match will be concluded to-morrow. With such noted players on the Country side as T. C. Lowry, 11. B. Massey. N. Galliehan, E. R. Neale, and J. Newman. the Town eleven, which includes a fair proportion of promising colts, should be fully extended. .Messrs. W. Toomath and S. J. Tucker will act as umpires.
