Mr. and Mrs. J. Myers and Miss Marjorie Myers have returned from Christchurch. Miss Kathleen Price, Christchurch, has returned from a holiday visit to Wellington. The following staff nurses at Welling--ton Hospital have been promoted to sisters: Nurses H. Somerville, R. Keith, N. McKenzie, and C. Pollock. The following, were guests at “The Hermitage,” Mount Cook, last week:— Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Parker (Fcilding), Miss E. Donald (Palmerston North), Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Tasker (Wellington), Miss Guthrie-Smith (Tutira), Miss Turner Williams (Havelock North), Miss C. Dilnot-Smith (Pahiatua), Mr. and Mrs. McDonald (Wanganui).
