CRIME PUNISHED

PRISONERS SENTENCED Reginald Eugene Seager, who had pleaded guilty to a charge of carnal knowledge, was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment with hard labour by His Honour Mr. Justice Myers in the Supreme Court yesterday. It was ordered that the sentence be cumulative with a term prisoner is now serving. Sentence of two years’ reformative detention was passed on James Taylor Watt on a charge of obscene exposure. The circumstances disclosed, said His Honour, excluded any question of probation, as asked for by prisoner. Fur. thermore, the occasion was not the first on which prisoner had been convicted of indecency.
