THE “RIPPER” MURDERS AT DUSSELDORF (Rec. November 26, 7.30 p.m.) Berlin, November 26. A large force of detectives at Dusseldorf are completely baffled by the “Ripper” murders. Scores of likely clues have been followed up without avail. A waiter at the hotel where Maria Hahn was seen in company with a. man on the eve of her murder informed the police that a party of excursionists was photographed in various groups which almost certainly included Maria Hahn and her acquaintance. The police are appealing throughout the country to photographers to send photographs. STELZER NOT CONNECTED WITH OUTRAGES Dusseldorf, November 25. It was found that Stelzer was not connected with the “Ripper” murders, but he is being detained in an asylum. The burned bones found in his fireplace were not human. [Articles of feminine apparel were found in Stelzer’s room, and his appearance was said to tally with that of the murderer given by a woman who had narrowly escaped.]
