He was born in 1854, and created K.C.M.G. in 1911.] SENATOR WARREN Washington, November 25.. Senator Francis Warren, aged SS, is dead. He was the last survivor in Congress of the Civil War. [Senator Francis Eniroy Warren was born in Massachusetts in 1844, and served in the Massachusetts Volunteers in the American Civil War, receiving the Congressional Medal of Honour “for gallantry on the battlefield at the siege of Port Hudson.” He moved to Wyoming in 1868, and was thereafter associated with that region, being elected first Governor of the State in 1890. He had been a member of the United States Senate since 1894.]
