NEW AREA REQUIRED PROBABLY AT MASSEY COLLEGE Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, November 26. The announcement that there was n likelihood of another block of land being acquired in Palmerston North for argicultural experimental work was made by the Minister of Lands and Agriculture (Hon. (1. AV. Forbes) during a short visit to Palmerston North. . “As the present lease at Marton is expiring it is necessary to find new grounds, and endeavours will probably be made with a view to securing a suitable block of land at Massey Agricultural College, as the work is necessarily correlated.” he said. ' ■ . x , The tenure of the Marton experimental area, which is one of 75 acres, and which has been in existence for about ten years, will expire in about a year’s time.
