Mr. Edward Short I. K.C., a former Home Secretary, who h ;s b-on appointed president of the B ill.-li Board of Film Censors in succession to the late Mi'. T. I’. O'Connor, was in New Zealand some little time ago on behalf of Sii' W. G. Armstrong, Whitworth. Limited, in connection with the Arapttnl contract. Mr. Scott Colville passed through Wellington yesterday en route from Hie south to the Tarauttki district to make arrangements for (he visit to the North Island West Coast-of the Westminster Glee Singers.
