MR. HOLLAND THE PUBLIC SERVANTS

Sir, —Mr. Harry Holland’s great ambition is to be Prime Minister of New Zealand, and while admiring his ambition I cannot say 1 admire his methods. His latest speech down the Coast should not deceive the Public servants, but apparently in some cases that is past hoping "for. Fortunately, however, "all Public servants'are. not simpletons, and these are the ones Mr. Holland must fear next election.

As has' been previously pointed out, the Labour Party had the chance of’ benefiting the lower-paid members of the Post Office, but ambition got in the way, and Reform had to turn them down. I am .only, a wqrker rayself, but I would vote Reform any day in preference to Labour with its present leaders. A few of us arc beginning to understand Mr. Holland.—l am, etc.. PUBLIC SERVANT. Wellington. November 25.
