MAGISTRATE’S COURT
Mr. E. Page, S.M., presided in the Magistrate’s Court on Saturday morning. For having used indecent language, Thomas King, alias Dalgety, aged 48, was fined £2, in default seven days’ imprisonment. Accused, who had 26 previous convictions for indecent language, drunkenness and theft, was convicted and discharged for drunkenness.. A charge of aefing offensively towards some assistants in a shop in Cuba Street on Friday evening, Alfred Lund, aged 51, was convicted and discharged. On a charge of having used indecent language to a plain-clothes constable, who was in the shop at the time, Lund was fined £l, in default three days’ imprisonment.
