WEDDING.

The wedding of Dr. Kenneth H. T. Tallerman and Dr. Alice Campbell Rose, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Rose, of Otago, took place at the Essex Church, London, on October 11 (says a correspondent). The church was decorated with palms and chrysanthemums in autumnal colourings. The bride was in her cream lame dress, which was gracefully draped, almost touching the ground on the left side. She wore an old Honiton lace veil, lent by Dr. and I\lrs. Edward Seymour, with whom she stayed prior to the wedding. The veil was held by a cluster of orange blossom, lent by another friend. Her only ornament was a string of pearls, a pronent from her mother, and she carried a bouquet of white heather. She was given away by her cousin, Dr. Menzies, of Kensington. The bridesmaid, Diiss Sheila Cheyncy. wore a pale green printed silk chiffon dress and a green picture hat. She carried ,a bouquet of pink roses and a shagreen vanity case, given by the bridegroom. The reception was held at 1a Henrietta Street, Cavendish Square, and about 200 guests were present. They were received by Dlrs. Wolf, the bridegroom’s mother. Mrs. Rose, mother of the bride, was unable, owing to ill-health, io come to England for her daughter’s wedding. After the bride had cut the cake,'the- best. man, Dr. Monerieff. rend out numerous congratulatory telegrams, received from all parts of the world. The bride and bridegroom left later for the honeymoon in Biarritz. Italy, and Paris. The bride’s going away costume was a black cloth tailormade suit with oyster satin jumper and black felt hat.
