TRAVELLERS’ CONCERT
The Wellington Commercial Travellers and Warehousemen's Association Male Voice Choir gave a most successful third concert for the season under the eonduetorship of H. Temple White in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall on Saturday night last. There was 'a. largo attendance and the choir was a particularly good one. and met with loud applause throughout. "Hope the. Hornblower.” “The Phantom Host," "Annie Laurie.” “My Love is Like a Red. Red Rose.” were some of the popular numbers on the programme. Several encores were given. Miss Alma Clegg, a gifted soprano, sang “Daybreak.” which was loudly applauded. Mr. A. E. Coe. a pleasant ’tenor, sang "English Rose,” while Desmond Lavin played “Gipsy Airs ’ as a violin solo. Mr. A. G. Flanagan, a baritone, was well received with “When the King Went Forth to War.” ’ The concert was a very successful one and was much appreciated by the large andleneo in attendance. Mr. W, A. Gatheridge and Mrs. M. It. S. Davidson were successful accompanists.,
