PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD GRANTS The quarterly meeting of the Public Service Superannuation Board was held on Thursday. Mr. J. W. Macdonald presiding. . Twenty-five contributors, retired by reason of age or length of service, were granted allowances of a total of tqliM per annum : and five contributors retired as medically unfit, were granted allowances totalling £522 per annum. An application for an additional allowance on account of retirement through injuries received whilst on police duty, was refused. . , ... Thirty-four widows and thirty children were granted the statutory allowances amounting to £IS34 per annum.
