ANNUAL SPORTS A TIE FOR THE SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIPThe second annual sports of the Rongotai College were held at the college grounds yesterday, in the presence of a large crowd of spectators. lhe stiff northerly which blew during the day was not conducive to record-breaking times. Consistent all-round running was shown by U. Holmes-Edge, and A. Bond, who tied for the senior championship, with eleven points each. J. Lang with 10 points was third. W. Hoffmeister scored a popular victory in the junior championship, winning with eleven points. E. Robinson was runner-up with 10 points. . . ' In addition to winning the Huntington Cup (senior championship), HolmesEdge annexed the Scottish Harriers and AA. Club’s Cup, which goes to the winner of the Mile Championship, and crosscountry event. W. Hoffmeister received the Cocks Cup (Junior Championship), and also a special trophy cup, which goes to the winner of the mile championship and cross-country event. DETAILED RESULTS.
