XIOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that A’ at a Special Meeting of the Wellington City Council held on Tuesday, the Sth November, 1929, the following resolution was passed;— The Wellington City Council hereby makes by Special Order the following Bylaw, under and by virtue of and in exercise and in pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in it by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,” and its amendments, and of all Acts, powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf. The short title of this By-law is “The Wellington City Amendment By-law (Consumption of Liquor in Town Hall) No. 67, 1929.” The object and purport of the By-law are; — To control the introduction into and consumption of intoxicating liquor in the Town Hall or any other public building owned by the Corporation. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the resolution will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Wellington City Council, to be held on Thursday, the sth December, 1929, at the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Cuba Street, Wellington, at 8 p.m. A full copy of the said By-law is deposited at the Office of the Town Clerk of the said Council, and. may be inspected by-all persons during ordinary office hours.. . "VOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in connection with the Air Pageant to be held on the 16th November, 1929, the parking of motor-cars in Coutts Street and Broadway between the Tramway Shelter Shed at Rongotai and Miro Street is prohibited, also the parking of motor vehicles at the southern end of Rongotai Terrace will not be permitted. The road connecting Broadway and Moa Point Road will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Moa Point Road from its intersection with the above-mentioned road to a point 40 chains to the eastward will be closed to pedestrian and vehicular traffic from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Lyall Bay Beach, between the above-mentioned points, will be closed to traffic between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. E.
