LORD BADEN-POWELL
SWEARING-IN CEREMONY IN HOUSE OF LORDS (Rec. October 31, 11 p.m.) London, October 31. In the House of Lords there was a large attendance of peers as well as Lady Baden-Powell and a number of Boy Scouts and Girl Guides officers in the galleries, who witnessed Lord Baden-Powell being sworn in with the customary picturesque ceremonial. The chief sponsors were Lords Hampton and Glentanar, both Boy Scout Commissioners.
