SLAUGHTER OF CHINESE PRISONERS HEADS HUNG ON LAMPPOSTS Shanghai, October 29. Raiders broke into the power works at Tsltsihar, completely wrecking the machinery and firing the building. Two Chinese soldiers were killed. The raiders escaped unharmed. Soviet troops are accused of atrocities at Lahasusu. It is alleged that they captured nine slightly wounded soldiers and slaughtered them before the body of a Soviet naval officer, killed in engagement. They hung the heads of the slain on lamp posts throughout the city. It is also alleged that a number of unwounded Chinese were similarly killed.
