INDECENT ASSAULTS
Two charges ,of indecent assault were heard before the Chief Justice (Hon. M. Myers) in the Supreme Court yesterday. After a short retirement by the jury,, a young man, Norris Frank Davey, was found guilty of indecent assault, with a strong recommendation to mercy. His Honour said the jury could rely on it that ho would give the recommendation the fullest consideration. Davey was remanded till to-day for sentence. A verdict of guilty was returned against: John Peris, who was also charged with indecent assuult. He was remanded till to-morrow for sentence.
