SHIPS TO BE BROKEN UP

Five ships of the Australian Navy, now in reserve, are to be broken up. They are the destroyers Parramatta. Yarra, Warrego, and Swan, and the former depot ship Penguin. Every ship Is now classed as obsolete, and the decision to scrap them was hastened by the needs of departmental economy. Each vessel has a lino war record.
