TVTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Wellington City Council held on Thursday, the 22nd August, 1929, the following resolution was passed:—

The Wellington City Council hereby resolves in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Wellington City Streets Act, 1899, and of all other authorities and powers enabling it in that behalf to declare street the private street or private-way known as Sutherland Crescent.

AND NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the resolution will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Wellington City Council to be held on Thursday, the 3rd October, 1929, at 7.30 p.m., at the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Cuba Street, Wellington. XTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that 4-’ at a Special Meeting of the Wellington City Council held on Thursday, August 22, 1929, the following resolution was passed:— That the Wellington City Council, pursuant . .to the provisions of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and their respective Amendments, and in pursuance of the Order-in-Council dated the sth day of August, 1929, gazetted in the “New Zealand Gazette,” Number 55, of the Bth day

of August, 1929, at page 2021, and in pursuance and exercise of every other Act and authority in that behalf it enabling doth hereby resolve by way of Special Order as follows :— 1. That a Special Loan of Twenty-six thousand two hundred and fifty pounds (£26.250), to be known as the “Wellington City Melrose, Wadestown, and Northland Districts Drainage Loan 1919 Repayment Loan 1930,” be raised by the Wellington City Council for the purpose of providing funds for redeeming the outstanding liability in respect of a loan of Thirty thousand pounds (£30,000) maturing on the First day of March, 1930. 2. That the rate of interest on the said Loan be not exceeding Five pounds ten shillings (£5 10s.) per centum per annum, payable half-yearly on the First day of September and the First day of March in each year during the currency of the Loan, being a period of Ten (10) years from the First daj’ of March, 1930. 3. That a sinking fund of Two pounds

(£2) per centum per . annum be established in connection with the said Loan. 4. That the security for the interest, sinking fund and other charges, and repayment of the said Loan be a special rate of Seven three-hundredths of a penny (7-300 d. in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington.

AND NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the resolution will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Wellington City Council, to be held on Thursday, October 3, 1929, at 7.30 o’clock p.m., at the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Cuba Street, Wellington.
