CONFIDENCE IN CHAIRMAN By Telegraph-p Press Association. Masterton, August 30. Addressing the annual meeting Of the Featherston Co-operative Dairy Company to-day at the request of the directors, Mr. W. A. lorns, chairman of the Dairy Control Board, said the company’s total levy to the board for the past season was £123, while the benefit accruing to the company from the reduction of costing was £2200. He stated also that the whole annual levy to the board was £35,000, while reductions secured for the Industry amounted to £450,000. At the conclusion of the meeting a vote of’thanks and confidence in Mr. lorns and the board was carried, the mover, Mr. Yule, stating that the board was an immense benefit to the dairy industry.
