Light refreshments proved most acceptable on the chilly evening The performers were the Misses Lily Helliwell, Violet Jones, Patricia Kerr, Lula Bicker, Booker, Joyce Twist, H. Shakes, and Messrs. F. Toner, J. Mulligan, J. Davis. Miss Peterson was at the piano. The short story competition filled a niche in a popular programme. The prizes were donated bv Mrs. W.
