Each player has been training steadily. The team will take the field in perfect condition and their football should be of the best. Petone. to have a chance for premier honours, will have to defeat their . opponents. The villagers have a very strong side, and have been playing excellent football in their last few games. They are. fully confident of victory and should give Diamonds a hard task to defeat them. With both teams at full strength and striving hard for victory the public should see an exciting game. Qn No. 2 ground the naval team from H.M.b, Diomede will meet a Wellington representative team. The H.M.S. Diomede team nut up a great record in Australia, and it will be interesting to see how they shape against a Wellington team. . The Wellington team will be selected from clubs that arc not playing, and it is possible, some new talent will come to light for the next trophy match against Auckland.
