SMALL TABLE TOURNEY Six games in the annual small table billiards tourney were played at Billiards Ltd.’s showrooms on Monday night, play being of a higher standard than in previous years. In the game between Scott (Lyall Bay) and A. Duncan (Island Bay), both members of bowling clubs, the play was particularly interesting. Scott got away from the start, and secured a big lead, but Duncan fought on determinedly, and won by a new points. Duncan was the finalist last year, with H. D. Warner (holder). Warner was on Monday night defeated by Duncan’s son, who had a start of 90 in. 200, while Warner was 70 behind scratch. Duncan, jun., won by 44. In the other games Kelleher defeated J. B. Perry; Foster Brown defeated Sloan; Moller defeated Griffen; and Miller defeated B. R. Perry. The conditions were excellent, one table being rather on the fast side. The competition was continued last night. The first two games were between Dyhrberg, senr. (owe 140), v. Bull (rec. 80), and Jessep’' (rec. 60) v. Taylor (rec. 20), and resulted in wins for Bull and Taylor. Final scores were: Bull 340. Dyhrberg 255; Taylor 200, Jessepp 156. The next two games were between Gilberd (rec. 65) and Reece (scr.), and McKay (owe 60) and C. H. Duncan (rec. 50). and resulted in wins for Reece and McKay. Final scores were: Reece 200, Gilbert 179; McKay 260, Duncan 255. McKay played good billiards throughout the game. The last two games were between Tucker (owe 140) v. Marris (owe 10) and Dyhrberg (a small boy of 11 years, rec. 140) v. Hart (rec. 30), and wins were registered by Dyhrberg, junr., and Tucker. The scores were: Tucker 340, Marris 250; Dyhrberg 200, Hart ISO. The best breaks ere Dyhrberg 45, 41, 37, 22, 21; Taylor, 25, 26; Jessepp, 20; McKav, 31, 20; Gilberd. 20; Reece, 21; Tucker, 76, 37. 30, 30. 24, 26. The games for to-night are: 7 p.m.. Page v. Lockett and Spence v. Pollock; about 8 p.m.. Lang v. Brackenridge and Fossette v. Perry; about 9 p.m., Kelleher v. Brown and Moller v. A. Duncan.

GOOD PLAY BY McCONACHY AGAINST SMITH.
