ANOTHER DONATION FOR FUND Australian Press Association. Loudon, August 3. Following upon the gift of Mr. Schiff’s cheque for £lO,OOO, Mr. T. W. Whitehead, of Dunblane, Scotland, has handed to Sir Robert Baden-Powell a cheque for £5OOO for the Boy Scouts’ Association.
It was reported on Saturday that Mr. Mortimer Schiff, a millionaire American banker and vice-president of the American Boy Scouts, handed the Prince of Wales a cheque for £lO,OOO to establish a fund for the promotion of a Boys’ International Fellowship, which the Chief Scout will direct from London.
