The C. and D Line have been notified by cable that the Port Melbourne sailed from London on Friday with general cargo to unload at Suva, Auckland, and Port Chalmers. The vessel is due at Suva on September 0, and at Auckland on September 14. ROTORUA LEAVES HOME. Cabled news has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Rotorua left Southampton on Friday for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Bluff. The vessel is due at Wellington on September 6. OTOKIA ARRIVES. At 1 p.m. yesterday the Union Company’s oil-tanker Otokia arrived in the stream at Wellington from San Luis (California) with a cargo of fuel oil for her owners. Pratique was granted, and the vessel berthed at the Miramar Wharf. The Otokia had moderate weather until nearing New Zealand, when strong winds were encountered. The. voyage was uneventful. THE HORORATA. The Hororata arrived at New Plymouth on Saturday from Port Chalmers to complete discharge of her London cargo. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Hororata will commence loading at New Plymouth, and is to leave there on Thursday to load at Wanganui, Tiraaru. Lyttelton, and Wellington, where she is due on August 17. She will sail from this port on August 20 for London, via Panama. VANCOUVER MAIL SERVICE. The Makura, from Vancouver, via Honolulu, is due at Suva on Aungust 9, and at Auckland on August 12. The Aorangi, from Sydney, via Auckland. loft Suva on Friday for Vancouver, via Honolulu. She is due at Honolulu on August 9 and at Vancouver on August 16. SAN FRANCISCO MAIL SERVICE. The Tahiti arrived at San Francisco at 8 a.m. on Friday.
