DEATH OF H. CAIRNS
EVIDENCE AT INQUEST By Telegraph—Press Association. (Rec. August 2, 9.50 p.m.) Melbourne, August 2. At an inquest on the jockey H, Cairns, killed last Saturday at Moonee Valley, other jockeys stated that Cairns's horse took off too fpr away from the hurdle and crashed into it. The coroner returned a verdict of accidental death.
