COTTON DEADLOCK
MORE MILLS CLOSING Australian Press Association. (Rec. August 2, 7 p.m.) London, August 2. The cotton deadlock is tighter, and more mills are closing down. No development is expected until after the holiday. In the meantime district meetings of operative spinners will be advised to leave matters in the hands of; the executive to negotiate for the best terms possible, such terms to be submitted to a special representative meeting.
