SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
The very large audience of men at the Sailors’ Friend Society on Thursday was entertained to a pleasing social in which music, games, and competitions were prominent. Great skill was frequently shown by the guests. Prizes came from Mrs. Manning, Miss Bell, and Mr. Goodman. The hospitality which was a pleasing feature of the evening came from well-wishers. Mr. James Moore, missioner, led the proceedings.
