NEW PLAY AREAS
PROPOSALS APPROVED. The Reserves Committee made the following recommendations to the City Council last night, which were approved :— That the work of forming a play area at the reserve at the top of Rolleston Street be considered in the next relief works loan. That a bank at Prince of Wales Park be planted when the ground is extended to its full length. That plans be prepared for the formation of a recreation ground on the town belt, Hataitai, by the use of spoil from the new Mt. Victoria tunnel.
