From Melbourne and Hobart the Union Company's Kaiapoi arrived at Bluff on Wednesday night. She was to have left again vesterday for Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington, and New Plymouth to complete discharge. TAHITI AT SAN FRANCISCO. The Union Company report that the Tahiti, from Sydney and Auckland, is due at San Francisco to-day. She will leave again on August 7 for Papeete, Rarotonga, Wellington, and Sydney. OTOKIA REPORTS. The Union Company has received a wireless message from the Otokia, bound from San Luis to Wellington, reporting that she expects to arrive at 11 a.m. on Sunday. The vessel brings fuel oil ror discharge Into the company’s tanks at Miramar. MARAMA FOR SYDNEY. The Union Company’s Marama Is timed to leave Wellington at 3 p.m. to-day for Sydney, where she is due on Tuesday morning. PORT DUNEDIN FOR HOME. The C. and D. liner Port Dunedin is to leave fl’elllngton at 3 p.m. to-day for London, via Panama. She will take the following passengers:—Mrs. and Misses Cameron, Mr. Cameron, Mrs. McFarlane, Miss Hargreaves. Mrs. It. Kennedy, Mrs. Wright, Miss Ball, Miss Uphill, Major T. M. Wilkes. Dr, D. M. Patterson will accompany the vessel as ship's surgeon. THE PAKIPAKI FIRE. Owing to a typographical error it was made to appear in yesterday’s Issue that the Pakipaki was expected to clear New York last September for New Zealand. The vessel was to leave New York last Saturday, but no news of her departure has yet been received by the local agents. PHOSPHATES FROM SEYCHELLES. A. S. Paterson and Company. Limited, have received advice that the tramp steamer Primus is en route from Mahe, Seychelles Islands, to Bluff and Auckland. She has a full cargo of 8000 tons of phosphate, of which 5000 will be unloaded at Bluff and 3000 at Auckland. The vessel visited Auckland in May, 1928. NEW COASTAL TRADER. The Canterbury Steam Shipping Company advise that their new 0.1'3.V. Foxton is to be launched at Auckland to-day. The vessel will load there on August 8 for Wellington and Foxton, anti will maintain a regular service between Lyttelton, Wellington, and Foxton.

The Canadian Conqueror arrived at Dunedin j'esterday from Lyttelton. She will leave the Otago port to-day for Timaru and Wellington. The vessel is due here on Monday to load for New York, Boston and Montreal. The vessel is to get away from Wellington on Tuesday for Auckland, and is to sail finally from the latter port next Friday. According to a radio message received by the Vacuum Oil Company, the tanker Plume -is expected to arrive at Auckland on Monday evening from San Francisco. After discharging the local portion of her oil the tanker will proceed to fl’elllngton. RUAHINE TO LOAD. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruahine, which arrived at Auckland at 7.10 a.m. yesterday from fl’elllngton, will complete discharge aud commence loading there. The vessel is to leave Auckland at 6 a.m. on Tuesday to load at Gisborne, Napier, Timaru, Lyttelton and fl’elllngton. She is due back at Wellington on August 19, and will sail finally from this port bn August 21 for Southampton and London, via Pitcairn Island, Panama and Curacoa. MISCELLANEOUS. Tho Newton Pine will leave Wanganui to-day for Westport, and she will, go thence to Makatea. The Storm is due here to-morrow from southern ports, and will go on to Picton and Wanganui. , . The Corinna will now leave Dunedin todav via ports, for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth, and is due here on TuesThe Kurow will leave Dunedin on Monday, via ports, for Wellington and Auckland. „ , . The Komata Is due here on Sunday from Westport, and will return on Tuesday to the same port to load again for Wellington. The Kia Ora arrived at Oamaru yesterday afternoon from the Wanganui roadstead. She Is to leave Oamaru to-night for Timaru to continue loading. The lonic will leave Wellington at daybreak to-morrow for Southampton and London, via Panama. The Northumberland is now timed to leave Wellington at 2 p.m. to-morrow for Lyttelton, Dunedin, and New Plymouth to put out the remainder of her Liverpool cargo. The Surrey left Wellington at 7.15 a.m. yesterday for London, via Panama. The Port Gisborne arrived at Bluff at 11 a.m. yesterday from Port Chalmers for further loading. The vessel will leave Bluff to-morrow night for Lyttelton. The Port Alma is due at Auckland this morning from Wellington to continue discharge of her London cargo. The liner Mataroa is to get away from Lyttelton to-day for Port Chalmers to continue discharge of her London cargo.
