PROVISION FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN. A conveyance to and from Johnsonville, or a building to be used as a school for young children of workers on the. Tawa Flat railway deviation resident at. Glen side, near Johnsonville, was asked for by Mr. W, H. Field (Otaki) in the House of Representatives yesterday. He said that such provision would save the children from the danger of walking along one and a quarter miles of “motor-in-fested” main highway to the Johnsonville school. The regulations would not allow a conveyance being provided by the Education Board in the particular circumstances of the case. The number of children of school age at.
