A recipe tea was given on Saturday afteruoon by Misses Kathlecu and Margaret Johnston at their home, "Kamnuo,” Cheltenham, Feildiiig, for Miss Dorothy Eliott. The rooms were decorated with flowers, tea being served in the diningroom, which was arranged with bowls of pink and red roses, while in the drawingroom tall vases of scarlet and pink japonica and bowls of pink and white came—lies were prettily arranged. Miss Kathleen Johnston received the guests in a frock of frilled delphinium blue georgette, and Miss Margaret Johnston's frock wns of mushroom georgette, with deep bands of powder blue. Those present were: Mesdames R. Burrell. R. Rodranyne, J. Buchanan. Misses Lucy Hall, Marjorie Bailey. Eileen and Betty Eliott. Bona McClure, Flora and Ruth Conway. Ruth Swainson, Betty Hogg. Amy Phillips, Phyllis Harper. Patricia Goodbebere. Adeline Hare, Betty Mason, Mnrcn Bailey. Nita Pratt, M. Fry. and Nancy Elliot. Songs were given- by Miss Rona McClure and Miss Nancy Eliott. A competition was won by Miss Goodbebere.
