SETTLED OUT OF COURT
CLAIM FOR DAMAGES. Palmerston North, July 31. Counsel stated that the matter had been settled out of Court when the case in which Louise Maud Edw.vds claimed £5O 15s. 3d. special damages and £3OO general damages from Edward A. Hamilton, company manager, of Palmerston North, for injuries allegedly received through being knocked down l>y defendant’s car in the Square on May 3, came up for hearing before His Honour Mr. Justice Smith and a jury of twelve in the Palmerston North Supreme Court to-day.
