ESPERANTO CLUB
Au outstanding programme was presented at the weekly meeting of the VVelilngtou Esperanto Club, which took place on Tuesday night, Mr. E.' C. Jack presiding. Mrs. C. Leek gave an Esperanto, item entitled “The First Ride.” This was followed by a laughable Esperanto sketch. Ln Komercisto Reklamas.” written by Miss Cornlie Smvthson, the roles being under taken by Mrs. B. Potts. Miss C. Smyth son and the club secretary. Mr B. Potts Mr L E. Dust gave nn amusing talk on ••Ln. .Uj'.-n’.fo <le Bruot” Mr. R. A Lorlior* sp'o’: •In eranto on “La Ost.ro. ’ Tii<* secretary re’ated a Hawaiian legend en ! .i- Nnsko de la Limo.” Two reel rations were given by Mr. W. H. King and Mrs. B. Potts. In the course of the proceedings a welcome was tendered to Mfss M. Belcher, a visiting Esperantist from Melbourne. As usual, conversation and instruction classes occupied the first half of the evening.
