Fixtures for next Saturday are as follow: Scottish Club—All Invitation run will be held at Day’s Bay, members being requested to assemble at the Ferry Wharf at 1.45 p.m. Brooklyn Hirrlers.—At the invitation of Mr and Mrs. H. Last Saturday members of the Hutt Club were guests of the' Wellington Club at the Evans Bay Boating Club. A good course of over six tiilles was covered by about tiftv members of both dubs, and a run-in wait held over the last- three-quarters of a “’a." Cutbush (Hutt Club) proved tt close winner, having beaten S. Morris (Wellington! bv three yards. .1. O’Brien finished a clean third. In winning the Tgnadees Cup on Saturday, B Lawer ran'the finest race of his career. ’ Starling from Mr. W. J. From there it led down to the bitumen works, along Broadway and through the tunnel home Twenty-two runners were dis patched at various intervals, and the scratch men, A, L. Stevens and F.
