EXPORT QUANTITIES AND VALUES WHAT A DROP IN PRICES WOULD MEAN TO US In the Legislative Council yesterday, the Hon. J. Cruigie urged a consideration of what it would mean to the Dominion if a drop to pre-war prices occurred in the markets overseas for our primary produce. Mr. Craigle quoted the following figures to show how largely the value of our exports overseas had been increased by the advance in prices:— _ Comparison of the exports trom New Zealand during, the twelve mouths ended June 30, 1914. and 1929 :— QUANTITY EXPORTED.

It will be seen that there is a difference of about 18 million if our 1929 exports were valued at 1914 prices.
