At a recent Lincoln County picnic the rolling-pin throwing contest was won by Mrs. W. H. Upsall, who threw the roll-ing-pin 67ft. Mr. Upsall won the 100yard dash for married men. “Part-time”, clergymen, who would be ordained and serve under license without payment while Carrying on their ordinary work, is one suggestion for meeting the shortage of clergy in Britain.
